Informations Imam Bukhari
Imam Bukhari - It is located in 12 km from Samarkand. Once, here at tomb Muhammad ibn Ismail Bukhari the mosque has been constructed. The Imam al-Bukhari was born in IX century in Bukhara, but has died and It has been buried near Samarkand in 870 since the childhood, collected and wrote down legends, many of which in a consequence have been brought in "Sheriyat". The imam has collected and has ordered 7275 xadis. In 16 century above its tomb the small mausoleum has been erected, a number had been constructed a mosque and plane trees are planted. In 1998 in connection with celebrating of 1225 anniversaries from the date of a birth of the Imam on a place of the ancient mausoleum has been erected a memorial complex.
The architectural decision of a modern complex in 10 hectares is based by the area on use of national traditions. The complex consists of the mausoleum, a mosque, an office building and other constructions constructed on perimeter of a courtyard. On the central axis of a complex the mausoleum of the Imam al-Bukhari is located. This construction in the form of a cube is topped 17 meters
by a dome. The door from the right party of the mausoleum conducts downwards to daxme - to a place of worship.
