Chatkal- Length of 223 kms, area of pool of 7110 kms2. Originates on southwest slopes mountain Talas Alatau. In headwaters proceeds in a wide valley with abrupt slopes, is lower of the river Ters - in deep gorge. A feed(meal) mainly snow.
