Registration of Foreign investors organizing
business in Uzbekistan
Required documents:
- 1. Notary assured original documents of applying organization (Article of Memorandum and Partnerships Deal translated into Uzbek language), a protocol document signifying the decision taken upon the company’s creation made by its partnerships.
- 2. Banking quotation confirming payment of the special State Registration Fee (amounted 500$ USA plus 5 minimum salaries).
- 3. Company’s name certificate issued by the State Statistics Office.
- 4. Samples of stamps and seals (3 copies).
- 5. A written extraction of a Foreign Investor issued by the Trade Registered Office located in the district of the Juridical Person’s registration and legalized by the Consul department in Uzbekistan or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (in case if the particular Consul office is not opened in Uzbekistan) with the further confirmation in the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( in case if another option is not specified in the International agreement of the Republic of Uzbekistan). The written extraction of the foreign investor must consist: name of the Foreign Juridical Person, location, amount of company’s established fund, organized-legislative form, registration date, period of business activities, details of a person authorized to sign on behalf of the Foreign Juridical person. The mentioned written extraction is valid within 1 year from the moment of its issue.
Physical persons – non-residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan present a copy of the National Passport. The passport details must be translated into Uzbek language and notary assured. In cases if a foreign investor investigates his Intellectual abilities he is required to present a special appraisal document from the official appraiser made in accordance with the State Law.
- 6. Documents confirmed input of 30% deducted from every partnership’s amount that is investigated in the Established Fund of the applying organization (the bank’s document certifying the input on the temporary deposits made in local and foreign currency, documents from the Customs office certified that the property was delivered in Uzbekistan, hand in and hand over statements and other documents).
